Gillian Chung official statement on sex photos scandal
The Twins fan event started at 1pm as they had a fan gathering with 100 over fans playing all sorts of games and having fun.
The press conference started at 2.15pm and Gillian is now reading her statement and was reportedly wearing a smiling face as she took to the stage to read her statement.
The scene was pretty chaotic with more than 100 media personnel trying to get the best spot.
With her innocent Twins band mate Charlene Choi ( Ah Sa ) sitting by her side, Gillian read her statement which lasted just one minute.
‘The scandal has been a great deal of hurt for me and the people around me. I was naive and foolish in the past (admitting to it indirectly) but I am already a grown-up now.
I would like to thank my manager, company, family and friends for their support. I’m sorry for the trouble that it has caused to the society.
I will work even harder and bravely face up to my life in future. I also thank the media for their concern and fans for their unwavering support.’
She didn’t look sad as she read her statement and wore a smile on her face. Her fans in the background cheered in unison, “Support You! Support You!”
Cecilia Cheung Involvement with Edison Chen for 3 years?
Edison Chen’s recent pornographic photos have shocked the whole world. Yesterday at 12 am, additional photos of Edison engaged in sexual situations with various Hong Kong female celebrities were uploaded online.
Accordingly, six women have already been implicated in the scandal.
Based on the memorabilia appearing in the background of the photos, reporters speculate that Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi had an affair with Edison when she was in her turbulent stage with Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, circa 2004 to 2005. Cecilia and Edison may have been involved for approximately 3 years.
In past interviews (prior to the release of the sex photos), Cecilia recounted that she met Edison when she was only 18 years old. The pair filmed a commercial ad together and Edison had not officially entered the entertainment industry yet.
At the time, Cecilia insisted she was not dating Edison. “We will continue to be good friends, really good friends going forward.
No matter what happens, I will continue to speak out for him.” However, given the current sex scandal, Cecilia’s past outburst was a bit ironic.
Since the sex scandal, Cecilia has not made a public appearance. Allegedly, Cecilia and husband, Nicholas Tse, had rife marital arguments due to the scandal.
In February 2004, Cecilia and Nic filmed movie, “The Promise” together and mended their relationship. In March of the same year, the paparazzi photographed the pair together during the filming.
However, at the time, Cecilia was allegedly involved in relationships with Edison Chen and Jordan Chan Siu Chun.
In 2005, Cecilia dated a Caucasian man. At the same time, there were rumors that she may have gotten back together with Nic Tse.
In May 2005, Nic and Cecilia promoted “The Promise” in Cannes and Director Chen Kaige said the pair had “an intimate relationship.”
While promoting “The Promise” in Taiwan the same year, Cecilia did not omit the likelihood of reuniting with Nicholas Tse. However on May 20, 2005, Cecilia returned to Hong Kong and attended Edison Chen’s apparel store’s one year anniversary celebration. Cecilia Cheung and Edison Chen appeared to be quite intimate with each other at the event.
Based on these events, reporters speculate that Cecilia Cheung was involved with Edison Chen amidst break-ups and reunifications with Nicholas Tse.
